My Story

In October 2013, Barnaby committed to a trip to walk the Kokoda track.

In July 2014 his girlfriend, Angela, was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer.

On November 2nd, he married her.

Barnaby & Angela are filming a documentary on each leg of their "Honeymoon world tour" (they've already done NZ, Thailand & Echuca, and next they're going to Melbourne then Adelaide), and Kokoda will be the final leg.

In January, they were sponsored to walk Kokoda together

More than just a romantic, challenging holiday, they want to make a social impact with their trip & help find cures for the afflictions that have interrupted their lives (Barnaby got type 1 diabetes in 1994 then had a stroke in 2005).

Angela & Barnaby aren't seeking funding, so all funds raised go to National Stroke Foundation to help stop stroke, all they are asking is to borrow trekking gear from their extensive inventory list. Contact Barnaby if you have any trekking gear you could loan.

Thank You
